BWN: Snakes and Uncertainty
Bi-Weekly Wednesday Newsletter no. 129[GREETING GOES HERE] What's Going OnI didn't draw anything so I'm just gonna talk about Mudboard MudboardIt's been about 3 months and I think things have evolved. I wrote a lil article about why Mudboard should exist. So remember how I have this grid format with like a "mirror mode." It was cool, but I realized it didn't too anything too unique. Next thing I tried, I built a way to reuse the references (the right panel) I think it's useful, but I think it's too new of a concept. Could work in the future. A lot of people were asking for a way to resize images. And I couldn't figure it out on the grid mode, so found a way to switch between a freeform canvas and grid format. Doing this was a big move, cause there's so many more possibilities now. Most recently I made a thing to let people export their boards, which changed things a lot. Now people can make something with the app. That's crazy I have to work on improving my on-boarding, cause I don't think it's clear exactly how people should use this. But I think I stumbled into something....we'll see if it works out. What I've been thinking aboutI think whether I succeed or fail with Mudboard, I'll have grown a ton. And I've already grown so much! I'm learning a lot about working through uncertainty right now. I don't really know exactly what the future is, but I know generally where to go next, and that's all I can do anyways. Bi-Weekly Wednesday Newsletter no. 145 [GREETING GOES HERE] What's Going On I've been drawing characters for fun Also did some outside drawing too with some friends. Come through Sundays at noon Did some storyboards What I've been thinking about These past 2 weeks has simply just been very nice. I feel ok with whatever happens Also probably because I've been making a better effort to sleep, exercise and do social stuff lol. I guess that helps My allergies have been pretty bad.... Thank you!...
Bi-Weekly Wednesday Newsletter no. 144 [GREETING GOES HERE] Hi! erm I was free this week What's Going On Random Drawings Note that I was too lazy to complete the hand in the final What I've been thinking about I went to Safeway with my brother to get ice cream at night, and it was a very good decision I'm trying to learn how to be creative, yet not push on the gas so much that I kill it I learned that ripping out a floor is more fun than painting a wall Thank you! This was really heavy... fyi...
